Mike Prindle and Paul Tyre “Team Action” from Action Marine in Bainbridge Georgia took First Place and Big Fish honors with Buzz Baits and Jigs. Their five fish limit tipped the scales at 16.66 pounds, which included the Big Fish for the day weighing 7.24 lbs. Their efforts paid off with checks of $2,056.00 and $822.00 respectively for a total of $2,878.00

They also received Plaques for First Place and Big Fish, along with extremely nice shirts sponsored by Masterfoods U.S.A.  

Jimmy Sharp and Clint Brownlee fishing under the sponsorship of Masterfoods U.S.A. came in Second Place with a five fish limit of 12.38 pounds. Flipping and spinner baits paid off for their team and earned them a check for $1,028.00. They received Plaques for Second Place along with extremely nice shirts sponsored by Masterfoods U.S.A.

Steve Phillips and Lance Minix came in Third Place with a five fish limit of 12.36 pounds. Shallow spinner baits and crank baits did the trick for them. Their efforts were rewarded with a check for $822.00, extremely nice shirts, and Third Place plaques sponsored by Masterfoods U.S.A.

Ed Wilkerson and Hinton Day had a five fish limit of 11.76 lbs. Their technique consisted of fishing frogs, spinner baits, and chatter baits paying off with a Fourth Place check for $686.00 along with plaques and merchandise sponsored by Masterfoods U.S.A.

John Merritt and Brian Baggett took fifth place with a catch of 10.42 pounds and received a check for $548.00 and merchandise from Masterfoods U.S.A.

Jody Weaver and Robert weeks took sixth place and earned a check for $480.00 with a stringer of 8.32 pounds. They also were rewarded with merchandise sponsored by Masterfoods U.S.A. 

Our point’s leaders for the year, Clint Meeks and Al Cleghorn received plaques and merchandise sponsored by Masterfoods U.S.A. and checks equaling $1.00 per pound for their accumulated points.

As always, all teams received a bag full of door prizes from our loyal sponsors and thousands of dollars of merchandise was drawn for my boat numbers.

100% of our fish were released alive 

Best of all, the “FFTH” has aided in the funding and distribution of more than $8 Million Dollars worth of the food for the needy and the Food Banks we support.
