Jason Smith and Jackie Hambric took top honors and a check for $1,440.00 with a four fish catch topping the scales at an amazing 17.38 lbs on this cold and rainy day at Lake Seminole. Two fish were caught on a chrome blue back Mann’s Maniac and two were caught on a June-Bug Flapping Daddy.

Two weeks after a heart attack, Ed Wilkerson braved the cold, rain, and also fishing alone to not only net a five fish limit tipping the scales at 16.40 lbs, but also managed to take Big fish honors of the day with an awesome 8.60 lbs kicker! His technique consisted of fishing crank baits along grass lines in 12 foot water and earned him a second place check for $720.00 and a Big Fish check for $360.00 for a total of $1,080.00

Robert and Rick Tindell took third place with a five fish limit of 15.24 lbs and earned a check for $360.00 fishing Rattle-Traps over shallow grass.

Al Cleghorn and Clint Meeks, our 2007 points leaders, brought a five fish limit to the scales weighing in at 15.10 lbs by fishing spinner baits. Their efforts earned a fourth place check of $324.00

“Team Action” Mike Prindle and Paul Tyre, our  2007 Classic champions, brought a five fish limit to the scales weighing in at 14.40 lbs by fishing Rattle-Traps on off shore grass. Their efforts earned a check for $288.00

74 fish were caught for a total weight of 213.38 lbs and 100% were released alive.

Prize money paid out for the day was $3,492.00 along with another $360.00 put toward our year end classic for a total of $3.852.00
