took First Place and a check for $1,240
dollars with a five fish limit weighing in at 19.90 lbs.
Their fish were caught on Shad Rap crank baits.
Brad Shiver and
Earl Roberson
were not far back taking Second Place and
Big Fish for the day with a five fish limit totaling
19.62 lbs including the kicker that tipped the scales
at 7.46 lbs. They received checks of $620.00
and $310.00 for a two check total of $930.00
for the day. They also received two $50.00 Gift
Certificates from BIG BEAR RODS which
sponsors our BIG FISH winner at each
event. Their results came about by Flipping Big Bite
Bait’s Fighting Frog all day.
Steve Holt and
Tracy Edor
took their 16.80 lbs limit of fish early by
fishing spinner baits earning a check for
$310.00 for Third Place.
Bradley
Enfinger and Frank Jordon Jr.
took Fourth Place and a check for $275.00
with their four fish weighing in at 16.74 lbs.
Their technique had nothing but first place in mind and knowing
they had to have big fish to make the grade, they used the cloud
cover, a goal of 25 lbs, and threw white buzz baits
all day.
Tim Rockett and
Brian Browning,
our Points Leaders for the 2009 Season were the
model of consistency with an accumulated total weight for the
year of 78.50 lbs. Even though they did not place
in the money all year long, they fished hard, supported the FFTH
at each tournament, and showed true sportsmanship.
Their efforts were rewarded with a check for $560.00
which equaled one half of their entry fees for the year.

Our 2009 Most Outstanding
Contributing Sponsor of the Year was John Bell,
owner of The Matrix Department.
The Top Five Teams in points for the
year will be rewarded with a 50% off discount

from The Matrix Department. Each boat wrap being
worth an estimated at $2,800.00 makes this offer
worth an estimated $1,400.00 discount for each of
teams for a total of $7,000.00
Our Home Depot raffle winner
was Trent Hatton and our Wilson’s Woods
winner was Richard Predmore. Well
over $1,000.00 worth of raffle prizes were donated
by our many sponsors with all being distributed to our
participants today.
The FFTH has helped secure and distribute
an estimated $11.5 Million Dollar worth of Food for the Needy
since beginning in 1999 and with your continued support we can
