W. C. Johnson
and Tommy Tullos
took First Place with an amazing five fish limit
totaling 26.56 lbs. They also had
the Big Fish for the day tipping the scales at
7.42 lbs. They were rewarded with checks of
$1,000.00 and $250.00 for their efforts. They also
received two $50.00 Gift certificates
from our BIG FISH sponsor BIG BEAR RODS.
Their most productive period of the day was from 11:30am until
2:00pm and their most productive technique used was white
chatter baits and crank baits. They caught a total of
eight fish during the day.
Terry Stevens
and David Johnson
took Second Place with 23.14 lbs and
a check for $500.00 by flipping BIG BITE
BAITS “FIGHTING FROGS” in grass. They caught 10 fish
during the day to get their five fish limit and culled lots of 4
lb fish but never could get the one large fish they needed to
put them over the leaders.
David Mock and
Eric Wills
came in Third Place with 22.56 lbs
and earned a check for $250.00 for their efforts.
They used Paddle Tail Worms to put 23 fish in the
boat during the day to get their five fish limit.
Jimmie and
Michael Troxell
used worms and jigs all day to get their five fish
limit taking Fourth Place and a check for
$225.00
Fifth Place
and a check for $200.00 went to Wes Meadows
and Ed Wilkerson with a five fish limit weighing in at
22.20 lbs
Numbers for the day consisted of 25
teams, 86 fish weighed in, 100% released alive,
total weight for the day was 308.20 lbs, average weight
of fish 3.584 lbs, 15 five fish limits caught,
and a total payout for the day of $2,525.00 (cash and
gift certificates) with another $250.00 being put towards
our Classic.
Our sincere condolences and prayers go out
to our partner, polygraph provider, and great friend Ed
Sasser in the loss of his wife of many years. Ed will
also be having major surgery for bladder cancer next week.
Please keep Ed and his family in your prayers daily.
Our next tournament will be held
February 20th out of Wingate’s on Lake Seminole
and we hope to see each and every one of you there helping us to
REEL IN HUNGER.
